StagePlotPro v1.0 introduced the stage plot that actually resembled the band’s setup, graphics that were obviously mics, drums, or amplifiers, arranged on the stage where the band wanted them, numbered according to an input list that was right there on the same page.

Monitor mixes were described and each monitor on the stage had a mix number. Text was added by typing into a text field and dragging it to the stage.

StagePlotPro 2.0 greatly expands on the capabilities of version 1. A re-sizable stage and expandable input/monitor mix list (up to 60 lines of text) are now available, as well as a host of tools to manipulate the plentiful new instruments.

New instruments include world percussion, strings, horns, guitars, keyboards, including a grand piano, and on-stage elements like mixers, racks, and personal monitor systems, laptops, and DJ setups.

Extras, such as chairs, music stands, and even a flight case for those who prefer to raise their amplifier from the floor, are included. All may be positioned at an angle, straight on, or up against the a wall. Instruments may be re-sized, copied, pasted, brought-to-front, aligned to each other by their edges, locked-in to distances from the edges of the stage or automatically spread out as the stage is resized. Groups of instruments may be saved to re-use.

The stage itself, besides being resizable, may be configured using risers, trusses and curtains. Backstage and behind-the-wings areas may be shown, as well as any steps up to the stage.

Lines and basic shapes may be drawn on the stage, and labeled if needed, using the text feature.
