RCF Installed Sound Division Introduces AX8042 8×6 Matrix Automixer

Fosters programming of multiple zones and room combining

The installed sound division of RCF has introduced the AX8042, a 1RU 8×6 matrix mixer and automixer. The configurability of the matrix allows for programming of multiple zones and room combining.

The new AX8042 includes eight universal mic/line inputs and six programmable outputs – four on balanced Euroblock terminals, with the other two on RCA outputs that can be separately processed and combined to any of the four Euroblock outputs.

Overview:

—8 mic/line inputs with 48-volt phantom power and audio processing

—4 routable balanced outputs with audio processing plus 2 linkable outputs

—10 programmable logic inputs plus 6 logic outputs

—Audio processing includes configurable parametric EQs, gates, compressors, limiters, delays, priority, automatic gain control, gain controls on all in/out and cross points, and automixing

—Configurable automatic level control with connecting noise detection microphone

—Two units can be combined for a 16×12 matrix

—RCF RDNet capability

—Serial control port for third-party integration (Crestron, AMX, etc.)

—RDNet capable (optional card)

—Wall-mount touch sensitive remote control optional (TS9918)
