Peavey Electronics Opens Multifunctional Showroom In Bali

New facility provides the Indonesian and broader APAC market the opportunity to get first-hand experiences of the broad line of the company's products for multiple applications.

Peavey Electronics has announced the opening of a new showroom in Bali to provide the Indonesian and broader APAC market the opportunity to get first-hand experiences with the broad line of products the company offers for numerous applications.

In addition to presenting the installed and professional audio equipment as well as the musical instruments and accessories, the venue also highlights the proprietary Mediamatrix distributed AV platform gear for touring, entertainment, and recreation under the Crest Audio. The new showroom was designed as a multi-functional space catering to a range of needs, with Bali was chosen due to ease of travel for APAC residents in and out of the city as well as its reputation as a popular destination with a range of entertainment, food and beverage, and leisure options.

The showroom serves as a demo arena, showcasing installed sound products Peavey and Crest Audio including SSE, Impulse, RBN, SP and PVX two-way loudspeakers, PHR II ceiling loudspeakers, and IPR and CS Series power amps, all controlled by the VSX loudspeaker management system and an Aureus digital mixer. Additionally, the Crest Audio wall presents the new CPL+ Series of loudspeakers along with Pro-LITE, CPX, and CLh amps for CPL T Series ceiling loudpeakers.

The showroom acts as a seminar venue, facilitating educational and training sessions for APAC distributors, Indonesian dealers, rental companies, installers, and sound professionals. In addition, it can also function as a content creation studio for product marketing videos and artist shoots. There’s also a mini stage/studio where musicians can record live performances with Waves eMotion LV1 and Crest Audio Tactus.Control as well as experience the Versarray line array system.

The showroom opening included a distinguished guest list, including several key members from the public and private sector. The company offers a special mention and “thank you” to Tantowi Yahya, former Indonesian ambassador to New Zealand and a former musician, Made Ariandi of the Bali Chamber of Commerce, and Wayan Koster, the governor of Bali.

Several popular musicians and artists were also at the opening, beginning with a performance by up-and-coming Peavey artists Mad Madmen. Canadian singer Deniz Reno highlighting the Versarray line array system with a vocal demonstration. Ridho Hafiedz, lead guitarist of Slank, delivered a speech underscoring the impact Peavey will have on the music industry in Indonesia. Akshay Vaidya, Peavey Electronics general manager – Asia Pacific, also took the stage to conduct a loudspeaker demo, and the evening concluded with a performance by Indonesian rock band Cokelat.
