A new Crestron-approved module fosters remote control of the Neutrik NA2-IO-DPRO.

Neutrik Announces New Crestron-Approved Module For Its NA2-IO-DPRO Breakout Box

Allows designers to integrate the DPRO into a Crestron system and perform various controls such as gain, phantom power, low-cut, mute and mic/line switch.

Neutrik has announced a new Crestron-approved module to remotely control its recently introduced NA2-IO-DPRO, a two-input, two-output breakout box designed to connect legacy audio equipment with Dante network.

As a result, Neutrik now offers full integration with Crestron control products to remotely control the NA2-IO-DPRO, meaning that system designers can integrate the DPRO into a Crestron system and perform various controls such as gain, phantom power, low-cut, mute and mic/line switch.

“There’s no doubt that the future within the pro AV market is based on interoperability between different devices within an application. We’re excited to provide a convenient solution to contractors and system designers for their Crestron installations,” says Florian Frick, Product Manager for Neutrik AG.

The NA2-IO-DPRO is a POE-powered Dante I/O device designed to add more flexibility in a network setup for line, mic and AES signals. Besides its own control software, the NA2-IO-DPRO can also be remote controlled from Yamaha CL/QL consoles as well as QSC Q-SYS and now Crestron control devices.

The new module is available free in the Crestron Application Market. In addition, new DPRO Controller software 2.0 and related firmware is available on the Neutrik website.
