Neutrik Americas To Showcase Range Of Connectivity Options At 2024 NAB Show

DANTE DLINE, DRAGONFLY, FIBERFOX, and the opticalCON MTP 12, MTP 16, MTP 24, MTP 48 group will all be presented at the company's booth at the Las Vegas Convention Center.

Neutrik Americas announced that it will be showcasing several connectivity product lines that address a variety of broadcast and related applications during the upcoming 2024 NAB Show at the Las Vegas Convention Center (booth), including the DANTE DLINE, DRAGONFLY, FIBERFOX, and the opticalCON MTP 12, MTP 16, MTP 24, MTP 48 group.

Neutrik Americas is introducing three new line-level DLINE audio products. The DANTE DLINE compact audio interfaces include the NA-2I2O-DLINE, the NA-2I-DLINE, and the NA-2O-DLINE. All three interfaces are designed to connect legacy audio gear to the newer DANTE protocol. The NA-2I2O-DLINE is a 2 line input and 2 line output box with 1 Dante/RJ45 Ethernet port; the NA-2I-DLINE offers 2 line input capability with 1 Dante /RJ45 Ethernet Port; and the NA-2O-DLINE box offers 2 line output capability with 1 Dante/RJ45 Ethernet Port.

The DRAGONFLY fiber optic connector series offers lens technology for the broadcast and AV markets that’s designed to help ensure reliable connectivity that is easier to maintain than common hybrid camera signal transmission systems. DRAGONFLY is designed to offer robust connectivity against vibration, thus having a low potential for damage. It’s also field serviceable due to its fusion splice technology, which makes it well suited for field broadcast applications. And, the hybrid connection transmits both power and data over a single connection, with low maintenance intervals.

The FIBERFOX family is a line of fiber optic products that bridges between the physical contact world and the expanded beam world using chassis connectors that accept standard LCs on one side and any MIL-DTL-83526 compatible cable connectors on the other side. FIBERFOX EBC25 connectors have green coloring that provides visual compatibility with similar systems, and the chassis connectors have a jam nut design for installation in environments where the D-size flange is unnecessary.

The opticalCON cable connector accommodates PC optical channels based on conventional and proven LC or MTP connectivity protected by a ruggedized all-metal housing. It has a spring-loaded push-pull locking mechanism and excellent cable retention utilizing aramid yarn. The opticalCON MTP 12 is a12-channel mobile field cable designed to provide a high degree of cable retention due to its aramid yarn and black PUR outer jacket. It;s available in single (APC) and multi-mode (PC).

Similarly, the opticalCON MTP cable connector accommodates 12 optical fibers (multimode PC or single-mode APC) based on conventional and MTP connectivity protected by a ruggedized all-metal housing. These characteristics carry over to the opticalCON MTP 16, MTP 24, and MTP 48—each with a larger capacity for projects of varying scope.

David Kuklinkski, Neutrik Americas senior director of fiber optic solutions, says, “We continue to grow our fiber optic product portfolio here at NEUTRIK. Customers are now using more fiber cabling in their productions than ever before. NEUTRIK has become the go-to brand for ruggedized fiber solutions from physical contact products like opticalCON MTP to our ever-expanding lineup of Expanded Beam Products such as FIBERFOX and DRAGONFLY. We are excited to showcase all these solutions and more at the NAB show.”
