Midas and Klark Teknik (MKT) has announced a change to their North American distribution, part of a complete reorganisation of the way in which MKT products are brought to market in the US and Canada.
The move sees Midas Consoles North America set up as a wholly owned business unit of the Music Group, owner of the Midas and Klark Teknik brands.
MKT customer support will remain in the experienced and capable hands of Midas Consoles North Americas’ Jay Easley, supported by existing members of his customer support and service team.
“Midas and Klark Teknik customers will have the reassurance of continuing to deal with their existing MKT representatives and dealers,” says Easley, who has worked with the brands in the US for 12 years. “They will doubtless be delighted that we are taking this opportunity to become more price competitive in certain product areas, by returning margin to the end user.”
The new distribution model will have many benefits for customers including improved accessibility to service, focused product and specialist technical support, a closer relationship between end user and manufacturer and more competitive pricing on many products.
“We are excited about our expansion in North America and believe this reorganisation adds increased value for our customer base,” says VP, customer support Jonathan Chitty. “We have been successfully running this model of MKT customer support in the UK for a number of years and its perfect timing to roll this out in North America.”
