Kramer Debuts SPK-CCF848 PRO & SPK-CCF848 EDU Ceiling Loudspeakers

Constructed with a central driver and four pivoting tweeters that direct the sound, based on the room environment, for equal sound dispersion (ESD)

Kramer Electronics has introduced the high-performance SPK-CCF848 Equal Sound Dispersion (ESD) ceiling loudspeaker.

It also comes in a PRO version for the professional video market or an EDU version, for the educational market, in eight different configurations of stereo or mono, full-tile or half-tile versions.

A patent pending design provides built−in stereo separation. It is constructed with a central driver and four pivoting tweeters that direct the sound, based on the room environment, for equal sound dispersion (ESD).

The SPK-CCF848 provides smooth frequency response. The PRO is optimized for music and high-quality voice reproduction. The educational version (EDU) is optimized for speech, and the EDU model also has a bass port for a bass reflex effect.

The SPK-CCF848 is easily installed. It comes in a 4-inch deep (approx. 100mm) shallow enclosure. It can be mounted on the ceiling and has a grill that looks and feels like a suspended ceiling tile.

The loudspeakers are fully RoHS compliant, in accordance with RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) regulations that restrict the use of certain dangerous substances commonly used in electronic and electronic equipment.

The SPK-CCF848 list prices range from $360-$450.
