Juice Goose Now Shipping CQ 1 (“Qiwi”) In-Wall Power Sequencer

Meets a need for distributed, non-racked power control presented by the proliferation of powered loudspeakers

Juice Goose is now shipping the CQ 1 (“Qiwi”), a new concept in AC power sequencing that fits in a 2-gang wall enclosure and functions without a master control device, meeting a need for distributed, non-racked power control presented by the proliferation of powered loudspeakers.

Qiwi operates just like the other Juice Goose CQ Series models with plug-and-play networking simplicity. It’s 15-amp duplex turns on with a single sequence event. Like other CQ models, the Qiwi has a sequence signal line input and output port to allow it to be daisy chained with any number of other CQ devices.

The CQ 1 consists of a metal front plate, duplex receptacle (NEMA 5-15R) and power control circuitry all installed in a metal enclosure that fits in a standard two gang spacing. A third gang space is required for power line connection. RJ-45 signal line connects the CQ 1 to any number of other CQ Series products.

With a standard 2-gang design, the Qiwi fits in a floor box with a minimum 8-inch depth. As a result, it can provide a link between any equipment powered from the floor box and the rest of an audio system sequenced with the Juice Goose CQ Series modules.

MSRP for the CQ 1 is $216.
