JBL Professional Extends AE Series Loudspeakers With Eight New Models

New models include six 2-way, full-range systems and two subwoofer models in installation loudspeaker line

At ISE 2015 in Amsterdam, Harman’s JBL Professional has announced eight new models joining the AE Series of installation loudspeakers.

New models include six 2-way, full-range systems and two subwoofer models. The AC895 (2-way, 8-inch) and AC195 (2-way, 10-inch) loudspeakers utilize a 90- x 50-degree rotatable waveguide. The AC266 and AC299 (both 2-way, 12-inch), and the AC566 and AC599 (both 2-way, 15-inch) utilize new waveguides with coverage patterns of either 60 x 60 degrees and 90 x 90 degrees.

All of these full-range models include 14 M10 suspension points and four additional M10 mounting points for use when a wall mount bracket is required.

Two new subwoofer models include the AC115S (single 15-inch) and the AC118S (single 18-inch), both with 12 M10 suspension points.

All new AE Series models are available in both black and white textured coatings and are intended for indoor use. The line includes U-brackets and a wall mount bracket accessory for all full-range models.

“These new low-cost AE Series loudspeakers are ideal for a range of environments including bars, restaurants, clubs, lounges, worship facilities, gymnasiums, retail spaces and education facilities,” says Jon Sager, senior manager, Market Development, Installed Sound, JBL Professional. “Their compact size provides opportunities for system designers to satisfy most architectural requirements. And, as with all JBL loudspeakers, the new AE Series models will always be ready to deliver high-quality, high-fidelity sound every time they need to.”
