Full Compass Holds Annual Golf Outing To Benefit Boys And Girls Club

The event has grown rapidly from its start with 40 or so golfing participants, and the amount of funds raised has increased significantly as well

Full Compass Systems recently held its seventh annual Full Compass Golf Event, with nearly 120 golfers helping to raise several thousands of dollars to benefit the Boys and Girls Club of Dane County, Wisconsin, which provides recreational and educational activities for youth in the area, focusing on the disadvantaged.

The event, held at The Meadows of Sixmile Creek in Waunakee, Wisconsin, has grown rapidly from its start with 40 or so golfing participants. The amount of funds raised has increased significantly as well, with this year’s amount reaching $8,850.

Top sponsors for the event included Great Dane Pub & Brewing Company, and Full Compass Systems suppliers Audio-Technica, Bosch Communications Systems, SurgeX, and M-Audio/Digidesign.

Following the round of golf, participants enjoyed music from local DJ company Juke Box Bandstand. Prizes included tickets to Ron White at the Crystal Grand Theater in the Wisconsin Dells, a four-pack of Milwaukee Brewers tickets, and a variety of golf packages, audio equipment and gift-cards. All participants also received gift bags and dinner.

Founder/Organizer Heather Paske notes that next year’s Full Compass Golf Event is already scheduled for May 15, 2010.
