Extron has announced the promotion of Rob Reconnu to director of technical services – network technologies, and has held a leadership role within Extron’s Network Technologies Support Group that brings together a team of senior network and AV engineers that specialize in AV over IP and Enterprise Network Support.
With multiple certifications under his belt, including a CCIE Certification from Cisco, Reconnu and his team assist customers from pre-sales conceptual design to post-sale commissioning. He has 30 years of IT and networking experience. Out of the Navy, he went straight into IT as a network engineer, subsequently spending 19 years at Cisco in various roles managing IT infrastructure as well as their technical support organization.
“Rob’s extensive background with network technology and in-depth working knowledge of our NAV Pro AV over IP systems make him the ideal choice for this leadership position,” says Casey Hall, chief marketing officer at Extron. “Under Rob’s direction, our Network Technologies Support Group will continue to excel in their efforts to make every customer install an uncompromised success.”
