d&b audiotechnik has announced the appointment of Robb Allan as principal product manager for its Soundscape immersive audio platform.
Allan brings extensive experience to his new role, including work with artists such as Radiohead, Massive Attack, Groove Armada and Coldplay, as well as being a contributor to product development initiatives at digital mixing console manufacturer Avid.
“Robb is a well-known figure in the global touring industry, earning the trust of major artists and demonstrating a deep understanding of their creative processes,” states d&b vice president of immersive Al McKinna. “His experience in designing user interfaces for live sound further enhances his suitability to lead the Soundscape business. We are happy to welcome him to the d&b family.“
