Current ProLight+Sound/Musikmesse Marks European Debut Of Renkus-Heinz VerSys VLX3 Line Array

The current ProLight+Sound/Musikmesse in Frankfurt marks the European debut of the new Renkus-Heinz VerSys VLX3 high-output, light-weight, large-format line array.

The full-range VLX3 line array modules are loaded with the company’s patented CoEntrant mid-high transducers as well as dual 12-inch Neodymium woofers.

Further, a proprietary Isophasic Plane Wave Generator works with the CoEntrant transducers to provide effective vertical pattern control down to 200 Hz. Enclosures can be ordered with 60-, 90-, or 120-degree horizontal patterns.

Each VLX3 module is rated to deliver over 133 dB peak SPL. Module weight is less than 190 pounds, while the flying hardware design provides a wealth of pick-up and array curvature options.

The optional VerSys dolly easily transports up to four pre-stacked modules. VerSys hardware suspends up to 20 cabinets with metal-to-metal reliability. Splay angles are easily set using 5/8 inch thick metal tie-bars and quick-disconnect pins. Pick-up point locations and enclosure angle settings are provided in advance by AimWare, taking the guesswork out of setup.

The heavy-duty fly bar attaches easily to the array with the quick-disconnect pins while providing a wide range of pickup points and aiming angles.

As an added bonus, VerSys VLX3 line arrays can be update at a later date to the self-powered RHAON enabled VL3 version.
