EH Publishing has announced that professional audio and production veteran Craig Leerman has joined Live Sound International and ProSoundWeb.com as senior contributing editor.
The appointment, effective immediately, was announced by Keith Clark, editor-in-chief of both publications.
Leerman brings a wealth of hands-on experience to the position, having worked in a wide range of roles in professional audio for more than 25 years in a dynamic career that encompasses touring, theater, live televised broadcast events and even concerts at the White House. Currently he owns and operates Tech Works, a regional production company that focuses on corporate events based in Las Vegas.
In addition, Leerman has worked with ProSoundWeb.com for more than a decade, most recently heading up the popular Road Test product review forum. He will continue in that role in addition to contributing technical, product and application oriented editorial to both LSI and PSW.
“As a long-time sound reinforcement practitioner who also has plenty of exposure to the ‘business side of the business,’ Craig brings a unique perspective, having dealt with the practical and cutting-edge, the day-to-day and the long-term, and the myriad levels of products and technologies that are a key to the industry,” states Clark. “We’re ecstatic that readers of both publications will benefit from his insights and contributions on a regular basis.”
