PK Sound has announced that Colorado-based Valkyrie Productions has joined its partner network with an investment in T8 robotic line source loudspeakers in working with ACT Entertainment, the PK Sound distributor in North America.

Outfitted with patented multi-axis robotic technology, the T8 is designed to provide more precise control of vertical and horizontal dispersion to better optimize acoustic coverage in virtually any environment.

“We looked into a lot of great-sounding systems, but PK Sound’s robotic technology takes the T8 far beyond just a premium line array,” says Valkyrie CEO Seth Roybal. “Using PK .dynamics software, we can mechanically tailor coverage to any venue or space that our work takes us and physically show our clients how we overcome acoustic limitations to deliver the best sound possible. Considering the wide spectrum of applications we cover, the PK Sound T8 system was an easy choice.”

Valkyrie’s initial investment includes 12 T8 robotic line source modules and 10 T18 intelligent subwoofers along with a PK Cell modular touring rack, which combines power, signal and data distribution in a standardized package. The new components have been deploying in a myriad of applications, including corporate and trade events and regional music festivals, including providing monitoring for Slander’s sold-out engagement at the Red Rocks Amphitheatre.

“PK Sound prides itself on developing solutions for the next generation of technically proficient live sound providers and the team at Valkyrie Productions perfectly embodies that profile,” adds Ralph Mastrangelo, director of sales, live sound with ACT Entertainment. “We’re thrilled with the industry reception to the T8 system since launching in January 2024, and esteemed partners like Valkyrie will help maintain that trajectory and deliver the advantages of multi-axis robotics to a wider array of applications.”

Founded in 2016 and located in Montrose, CO, Valkyrie Productions provides live event production and performance installation services throughout western Colorado and beyond.
