CAD Audio has added the new AS22 and AS16 to its growing line of Acousti-shield stand mounted acoustic enclosures.
The Acousti-shield 22 is a foldable stand mounted acoustic enclosure that provides added portability to the Acousti-shield line. Constructed of 16 gauge perforated stainless steel shield mated to 53mm high-density micro cell acoustic foam, it enables a mobile dry recording environment to be created for custom vocal and miking situations at home and on the road.
The AS22 reduces unwanted reflections and echo flutter while attenuating unwanted environmental acoustic interference. Its flexible design and supplied mounting hardware allows exceptional mic positioning flexibility and portability.
The AS16 Acousti-shield offers similar results for instrument recordings or on stage isolation. It combines durable construction and high-density micro cell acoustic foam to facilitate an isolated recording environment.
A special design enables the AS16 to be used with a range of microphones from pencil condensers to most popular dynamic instrument mics for easy placement in studios or on stage.
Like their predecessor, the Acousti-shield AS32, the new AS22 and AS16 are useful tools and accessories for home and project recording, and live performance situations.
