Bluesound Professional has announced the launch of the new B170S Networked Streaming Stereo Amplifier designed for commercial music applications in combining a stereo low-impedance and constant-voltage amplifier with a BluOS-enabled network music player. Orders for the B170S are open immediately with warehouse availability starting in September 2022.
The low-impedance output (2 x 80 watts into 4/8 ohms) is well-suited for applications where intelligibility and addec sophistication are important, while installations such as corridors and high-traffic areas can be served with the constant voltage option (2 x 100 watts into 70 volts or 1 x 100 watts into 100 volts) that allows for daisy-chained loudspeakers. With keyhole slots providing mounting options, the B170S can be concealed under shelves, tables and walls or be rack mounted in a 3U space with the racking accessory.
Streaming services like SoundMachine, Custom Channels, SiriusXM for Business, QSIC, and Tunify and others are natively integrated into the BluOS enabled network music player in the B170S and can be controlled with the BluOS Controller app on PC, Mac, iOS and Android.
