The new Beyma Professional 18SW1600Nd is an 18-inch driver with the company’s patented HELICEX technology
The HELICEX cooling system facilitates high-efficiency thermal dissipation, and as a result, very high power handling capacity and lower power compression losses.
Exclusive Beyma NCR (Neck Coupling Reinforcement) membrane is designed to handle the high mechanical efforts that are applied to the mobile assembly at very high power levels.
A die-cast aluminum spider ring provides strong base against the high tensions coming from the spider, also allowing a better heat dissipation of the overall mechanical assembly. The CONEX spider preserves the mechanical and physical properties of this component, even in the most extreme power conditions. After two hours of AES testing, the shape of the spider remains the same and the performance of the driver does not change.
The spider and surround suspension are designed as a whole (exclusive MMSS technology) for a symmetric and highly linear behavior of the mobile assembly in long excursions, resulting in a low harmonic distortion level.
A 5-inch DUO inner/outer voice coil winding is also designed to stand up to the most demanding mechanical conditions with high stability in big displacements and with an optimized thermal dissipation, again courtesy of the HELICEX technology.
