AKG has introduced the K612PRO reference class and K712PRO reference studio headphones at the Prolight+Sound 2013 show in Frankfurt.
The Vienna-manufactured headphones with 2-layer diaphragm proprietary Varimotion technology provide exceptional imaging and distortion elimination.
The K612PRO is an open-back, circumaural dynamic headphone, delivering brilliant details for a full, spacious sound. The visual components of the self-adjusting glove-leather headband with aluminum arches and solid rivets provide a lightweight, maximum comfort fit.
The K712PRO is the new top-of-the-line reference headphone, as the K702 aligns itself in the middle of the two new headphones. Its sophisticated open-back design, 3 dB improved low-end performance, revolutionary flat wire voice coil and a detachable professional cable provide mastering and mixing professionals hours of fatigue-free work hours.
K712PRO has a genuine soft leather headband for a lightweight and comfortable fit. Its pre-selected transducers provide consistency and accurate localization. K712PRO comes with an additional coiled cable and a premium carrying bag.
