Continuing a series that kicked off at InfoComm MEA in October, Audinate and Bose Professional will present the next session of “Introduction to AV Networking” in Los Angeles on Wednesday, December 17 from 9 am to 4:30 pm.
Focusing on Audinate Dante technology, the session is intended for AV and IT professionals who have a novice or intermediate understanding of AV networking, providing a look at the current state of audio networking and control for AV systems, emerging technologies and trends in AV networking.
The instructor-led training uses a variety of components from Bose Professional and other participating manufacturers (Attero Tech, Audio-Technica, Digital Audio Labs, Shure and Focusrite), and provides an opportunity to learn audio networking theory, design and implementation through interactive, hands-on sessions using Dante.

Presenters include Bernie Farkus of Audinate and Darryl Bryans and Trevor Donarski of Bose Corporation. The session is eligible for three Renewal Units for InfoComm certification holders.
Focus is on the following topics:
—Connecting devices and routing audio over a Dante network
—Network switch configuration for various applications
—Working with IT managers to define network requirements
—Basic network troubleshooting
This is an all-day session with lunch provided, and does not require a fee to attend. Immediately following the session will be a reception hosted by the sponsors, providing the opportunity to ask additional questions and network. All participants will also receive a free Dante Virtual Soundcard license for attending.
