The BAC-500—BAC being short for Brad Avenson Compressor—is a feedback-style FET compressor built around two discrete op amps and a custom wound output transformer.

The Noise Stick simply plugs into a phantom-powered microphone input and it generates well-behaved pink noise. Unplug it, and it stops – the Noise Stick requires no batteries and no configuration, and doesn’t need a power switch.
Both of these processes may be applied to the capsule and mic housing of both Sennheiser wireless and wired microphones.
One of the technological advances on display, besides a stage-width, triple layered interactive LED video screen, was L-Acoustics new K1 line array.

The new Community MX41E is voiced for live performance use, with a choice of two models both featuring rotatable horns for narrower horizontal coverage. Angled backs allow the MX41E to be positioned at 30- or 45-degree angles.

The 1,200-seat sanctuary has been equipped with three CQ-1 loudspeakers and three UPJ-1P VariO loudspeakers, all strategically hung for optimized coverage. Low frequencies are handled by a pair of 700-HP subwoofers, and a Galileo loudspeaker management system provides critical system processing.
“The coverage of this system is amazing. It has power, consistency and control that helps set the personality of the club,” says Ron Castellano, owner of the club.
The STC-80 is designed to provide great results on vocals and speech but is equally at home recording guitar cabinets, snare drums and tom-toms.
