Waves Audio is now offering the Dugan Automixer + Dugan Speech plugin bundle for auto-mixing several mics in real time.
The Dugan Speech plugin is for integrated use inside the Waves eMotion LV1 console, while the Dugan Automixer plugin is for use with other consoles via the MultiRack plugin host. Both plugins are powered by Dan Dugan’s patented voice-activated process.
The plugins can help eliminate the need to manually ride faders while trying to keep up with several people talking, and they can auto-mix up to 64 channels simultaneously and make well-matched crossfade without compression or noise gates that can cause unwanted artifacts.
They also can reduce noise, feedback and comb filtering from neighboring microphones, helping to attain consistent overall gain even when numerous people are talking simultaneously.
