Waves Audio Introduces The Dave Clarke EMP Toolbox Plug-In Collection

Waves EMP, the electronic music production division of Waves Audio, announces the availability of the Dave Clarke EMP Toolbox plug-in collection. Created in collaboration with noted DJ/Producer Dave Clarke, it’s the third bundle released in Waves’ new EMP product line.

Clarke has been among the top tier of global techno DJs and producers of the past two decade, performing at events ranging from large-scale outdoor festivals such as Tomorrowland to the gritty clubs of the underground scene. He’s also a devoted fan of electronic music, with the ability to put together superb mixes of tracks, earning him widespread popularity as a radio DJ with his long-running radio show White Noise.

Waves equalizers, effects, metering tools and tape saturation plug-ins form the basis of the “Dave Clarke sound” and of the pumping techno trails heard on remixes for the likes of Depeche Mode, The Chemical Brothers, John Foxx, I am Kloot, and Louisahhh!!! & Maelstrom—to name a few from his 25-year career.

Chosen by Clarke himself, the Dave Clarke EMP Toolbox contains seven of these sound-crafting processors, the ones he uses regularly in his mixing and mastering sessions. “Waves plug-ins always provide the surgical focus you need, with lots of analog harmonics and efficient use of CPU,” Clarke notes. “I highly recommend Waves plug-ins, especially the ones included in the new Dave Clarke EMP Toolbox.”

The Dave Clarke EMP Toolbox includes the following Waves plug-ins: API 560, Scheps 73, Aphex Vintage Aural Exciter, LoAir, MetaFlanger, Kramer Master Tape and Dorrough Stereo. Clarke also uses the SSL 4000 Collection.
