Waves Audio announces the first products of its new Waves Commercial Audio line: the Waves CA1000 and CA2000 Commercial Audio DSP engines, both designed to improve audio playback quality and speech intelligibility in Dante-based A/V installations.
Each is a single-box software-plus-hardware unit offering more two dozen Waves processors, with professionally pre-configured, integrator-ready audio processing presets. Both are designed to integrate into new or existing systems using Dante audio networking.
The CA1000 and CA2000 include 19 audio processing presets focused on playback quality and speech intelligibility via an array of microphones and amplification systems, feedback elimination, voice processing without loss of tonality, and more. The presets are based on Waves plugins that can be further customized and stored based on the application’s unique room or zone requirements. The presets can be customized and locked-in by the installer for individual channels, groups or zones.
The CA1000 can be configured to process up to 16 x 16 bidirectional audio channels, while the CA2000 can be configured to process up to 64 x 64 bidirectional audio channels over the Dante network. Both units are either surface or rack-mountable.
