VUE Audio al-Class Line Arrays Cover Arena Shows In Georgia

Ready Or Not production company adds al-8 arrays and hs-221 to inventory to serve larger events.

Ready Or Not, a full-service production company in Rome, GA, recently expanded its inventory with the addition of new VUE Audiotechnik al-8 line arrays and hs-221 subwoofers and dispatched them to deliver sound reinforcement for events at local arenas.

First up was a New Year’s Eve event in Tallapoosa, GA where the expected crowd was 2,500 but attracted an attendance of almost 7,000. Ready Or Not president Lee Shealy reports that al-8 arrays had no problem covering the larger-than-expected crowd and described the sound as “remarkable.”

Next up for the new loudspeakers was a date in support of Riley Green, a CMT’s Redneck Island reality show cast member turned country singer, performing at the local arena.“The consistency of sound color (tone) from small to large format is impressive,” states Shealy, who’s looking forward to a strong concert season with his crew. “The big boxes are louder and a bit more ‘in your face,’ but as a whole, the entire line is very balanced and musical. I get the ‘musical’ remark a lot from audio engineers.”
