The United States Institute for Theatre Technology (USITT) 62nd Annual Conference & Stage Expo, slated for next week (March 2-5) at the Baltimore Convention Center, is expected to bring more than 3,000 members of the technical production and live entertainment industry for the organization’s first in-person event in three years.

The Conference & Stage Expo will have more than 200 exhibitors of the latest products and services for creating live shows, plus over 250 presentations, demonstrations, and celebrations of work by top artists in the field. The expo floor will also be the site of hands-on labs in sound, lighting, costume, ground rigging, and more. Go here for the full list of floor labs.

“We’re delighted to bring more than 3,000 live entertainment design and technology professionals to Baltimore for our Annual Conference & Stage Expo,” says executive director David Grindle. “When we open this event, it will have been 1,075 days since we closed our last in-person event. Our industry, now in the infancy of its reopening, has persevered against all odds, which is the historical hallmark of live entertainment. Our membership, friends, and industry partners are very excited to kick off our bright future in Baltimore.”

USITT’s Friday night reception, sponsored by ACT Entertainment, will have attendees and exhibitors coming together at the Maryland Science Center to celebrate the in-person return of the show and give everyone a chance to reconnect. The full list of USITT Main Sponsors is here.
