Universal Audio Releases New UAD-2 OCTO Ultimate 5 DSP Accelerators

Collection of 89 UA-developed UAD plugins now available with UAD-2 OCTO PCIe Cards, UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt, and UAD-2 Satellite USB DSP Accelerators

Universal Audio has announced the Ultimate 5 package for the UAD-2 OCTO PCIe Card, as well as UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt and UAD-2 Satellite USB DSP Accelerators.

Providing 89 UA-developed UAD Powered Plugins — including offerings from Studer, Ampex, Manley, API, Fender, Neve, and more — Ultimate 5 replaces Ultimate 4 as the most comprehensive software bundle offered by UA.

The new software bundle includes all UA-developed plugins up to and including UAD Software v9.0 (direct developer plugins not included) and is available in three configurations:

—UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt OCTO Ultimate 5: Includes UAD-2 Satellite Thunderbolt OCTO DSP Accelerator desktop hardware plus the new Ultimate 5 software bundle

—UAD-2 Satellite USB OCTO Ultimate 5: Includes UAD-2 Satellite USB OCTO DSP Accelerator desktop hardware plus the new Ultimate 5 software bundle

—UAD-2 OCTO Ultimate 5: Includes UAD-2 OCTO PCIe DSP Accelerator card plus the Ultimate 5 software bundle
