Premier Mounts & YCD Multimedia Receive DOOHDAS Award For Diesel Flagship Installation

Innovative project completed by Premier Mounts and YCD Multimedia receives a second award from DOOHDAS

The video wall is a main attraction in the store creating an ambient shopping experience that influences flow of customers and reinforces and strengthens the brand message.

Premier Mounts is pleased to announce they are a recipient of an International Digital Signage Award (DOOHDAS) in the Manufacturer category for the Diesel retail digital signage installation completed with YCD Multimedia.

Creating an interactive shopping experience to engage customers and promote the brand’s message, Diesel had a large 2×3 video wall with 46 in. high definition NEC displays installed at their flagship store in NYC with a unique, uncommon combination of Premier Mounts’ products for digital signage, including the PSD-TL84B lightweight dual pole floor stand and UFA flat mount for displays up to 160 lb.

The main challenge of the installation included adhering to the guidelines set by Diesel for construction, including developing the system within the existing infrastructure.

Sam Malik, EVP Worldwide of Sales and Marketing commented on the award recognition, stating “We provide features in our mounts that minimize time and maximize success of the installation. Maintenance, cable management, and performance are the backbone of any project.” 

He continued, “For the Diesel project specifically, we were able to provide the most effective mounting solution that fully supported the weight of the system, did not compromise visual quality, and fit the criteria set by the customer.”

With YCD’s high impact YCD|Wall solution, the digital marketing elements are managed and controlled using digital messaging to create that “WOW” effect while also building brand-customer relationships and showcasing promotions.  Due to the success of the installation at the New York City flagship store, the same configuration was installed in the Diesel flagship store in San Francisco.
