Call For Action To Save Legacy Recording Studio

By PSW Staff November 20, 2008

Legacy Recording Studio

A petition to save Legacy Recording Studio has been signed by nearly 600 Local 802 members in the span of a few days last month in an effort to save one of New York City’s last large recording studios.

A developer purchased the building occupied by the studio early this year and the studio’s lease terminates as of November 30, 2008.

Local 802 is asking for help from the city and state to convince the developer to allow this important part of our city’s entertainment industry infrastructure to remain open.

Again, you can add your name to the petition by sending an e-mail to Paul Molloy, Local 802’s political and public relations director, at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). Please be sure to include your name and card number.
