Gefen has introduced Power Rack 54 and 58, both of which offer an easy way to organize power cords behind audio/video racks.

The Power Rack 54 and 58 both come in a rack mountable enclosure equipped with four or eight 5-volt power supplies. Each product uses one 24-volt power supply to streamline cords and centralize power distribution.

“The Power Rack 54 and 58 are designed to complement Gefen’s high definition video extension solutions over CAT-5 and CAT-6 cables,” said Hagai Gefen, president and CEO, Gefen Inc. “Both alleviate cable congestion in the rack area.”

Both Power Racks offer a grounding wire to bolster safety. Through step-down power, both Gefen Power Racks prevent signal degradation, particularly when powering VGA, component and audio devices.

Over-current ability protects against power surges, while the metal enclosure offers electromagnetic shielding.
