By PSW Staff • July 10, 2019 RCF loudspeakers deployed by DALTERIO for "Night Fever" in Magdeburg, Germany. RCF HDL 30-A line arrays were recently deployed by Germany-based production company DALTERIO Eventtechnik for a stop on the “Night Fever” Bee Gees tribute tour at open-air stage Seebühne at Elbauenpark in Magdeburg, Germany. Joachim D’Alterio, owner of DALTERIO Eventtechnik, states, “We’ve been using RCF for almost 10 years and are very satisfied over all these years. Rigging the new HDL series is very simple and intuitive. I love the sound of the RCF system very much because they sound audiophile and are assertive at the same time. A perfect mix, especially for such jobs.” The Seebühne is an openly designed venue offering an atmospheric ambience, but because of this design, it holds some challenges for event techs and sound engineers. The auditorium and the stands are divided, and many different directions and heights demand sound exposure. To meet these challenges, DALTERIO utilized dual main arrays comprised of eight HDL 30 modules, accompanied by a dozen RCF SUB 9004-AS subwoofers placed on the right and left side of the stage in a row (end-fire configuration). Four more HDL 30 modules were stacked on stage to cover an additional outer region to the right of the stage, with dual RCF TT22 loudspeakers flown in the stage traverse to deliver near fill coverage while two more TT22s delivered out fill. DALTERIO also utilized the RCF RDNet platform for system control and monitoring. Using digital signal processing for each device, RDNet presets and/or parameter adjustments can be sent to individual objects or groups of objects. Users can also change levels, delay, EQ (as well as phase-linear FiR), and additional settings.
