TMP-Pro Named U.S. Distributor Of Fusion Research Music Servers

Distribution division of The Music People adds high-resolution streaming hardware for commercially licensed music in public spaces.

TMP-Pro, the professional audio, video and lighting distribution division of The Music People, announces it is now the first distributor of Fusion Research products in the U.S. and it is officially shipping the products immediately.

A solution for AV integrators and installers, Fusion Research provides high-resolution music servers that stream commercially licensed music for use in any public space. The company’s FR-SOLO features a single analog output while the FR-DUET boasts dual analog outputs.

Both servers feature a high-resolution DAC and are easy to control via mobile devices, computers or automated systems such as Creston or Control4. The Fusion music servers are created to pair with many lines of loudspeakers, including fellow TMP-Pro-distributed brand Apart Audio.

“TMP-Pro is excited to expand its line card with Fusion Research to offer streaming hardware — a segment of the market we did not reach until now,” says Jim Mingo, director of Pro Audio Business Development at TMP-Pro. “These best-in-class music servers will provide AV installers with a new reliable solution when looking to install streaming music in a retail store, restaurant or other public space.”

With Fusion Research and SoundMachine, a recurring revenue stream is available to AV installers. When they use the Fusion Research music server with SoundMachine’s stream of licensed music, the dealer will receive a cut of the monthly fee for as long as the client uses the service.

“We’re very happy to work with TMP-Pro,” says Ingo Schmoldt VP of Sales for Fusion Research. “They are the perfect partner to help get our message out to the commercial community. We are excited for commercial integrators to see the recurring revenue opportunities this partnership creates.”

“It’s perfect for the installer because they continue to make revenue on a job even after the installation is complete,” Mingo says.

In addition to SoundMachine, Fusion Research products are compatible with popular streaming services Spotify, iHeartRadio, Pandora and TuneIn. They also offer full iTunes back-up and synchronization.
