The Recording Academy P&E Wing And Pacific Northwest Chapter To Host “From Mic To Mix”

Event scheduled at London Bridge Studios in Seattle to feature latest recording technologies from Harman Professional brands.

On Tuesday, July 14, 2015, The Recording Academy Producers & Engineers Wing and Pacific Northwest Chapter will host “From Mic to Mix” at Seattle’s London Bridge Studios.

Taking place from 7 to 10 p.m., the event will highlight the latest recording technologies from Harman Professional brands AKG, dbx, JBL Professional and Lexicon in a real-time recording application.

The event will featuring producer Mike Clink (Aerosmith, Guns N’ Roses, Megadeth), and Seattle-based singer/songwriter Star Anna.

The recording session will be coupled with a networking reception and Q&A that allows attendees the opportunity to engage with the talent and learn about their creative processes and approaches to recording.

The Recording Academy was established in 1957 as is an organization of musicians, songwriters, producers, engineers and recording professionals that is dedicated to improving the cultural condition and quality of life for music and its makers.
