The Music People Names New Director Of Operations & Marketing Manager

Parent company of On-Stage and TMP-Pro appoints Andrea Christiano new director of operations and Eric Palonen as new marketing manager.

The Music People, supplier of musical accessories and pro-audio equipment and parent company of On-Stage and TMP-Pro, has announced the appointments of Andrea Christiano as its new director of operations and Eric Palonen as its new marketing manager. With sales up by more than 20 percent in 2018, these two strategic appointments will help position The Music People for future growth.

“We are very excited to welcome both Andrea and Eric to the TMP family,” says John Hennessey, co-president of The Music People. “Their strong experience in both the accessories and MI industries coupled with their vast knowledge of customer service will be key as TMP continues on its steady growth trajectory.”

Christiano joins TMP from lifestyle accessory brand BigMouth where she served as sales director of E-Commerce. During her tenure, Christiano held multiple roles ranging from accounting and customer service to sales operations and account management. Her vast background has provided Christiano with an in-depth understanding of how different departments of a business influence one another.

“It’s a very exciting time to join The Music People, and I’m looking forward to using my background in the accessories industry to help TMP grow further,” Christiano says. “I’m very excited to be a part of The Music People’s continued success and hope to further enhance the customer experience for both our dealers and end-users.”

Palonen joins TMP from BigMouth where he held the position of marketing manager, developing the brand’s growth through key influencer marketing, web development and trade events. Palonen has previously served as marketing manager and brand manager at inMusic Brands where he focused on the growing music producer and DJ market as well as held held positions at Sennheiser where he developed high-profile marketing programs for Sennheiser’s headphone business unit, including working with Mark Cuban and the NBA’s Dallas Mavericks. He received an Audio Recording degree from Barton College and is the founder and owner of Pyro Audio, a boutique sound design firm for music producers. Palonen’s knowledge of the MI industry coupled with his background in strategic marketing will help TMP, On-Stage and TMP Pro reach an even greater audience.

“The Music People have long been a benchmark of integrity in this industry,” Palonen says. “The feeling of joining such a passionate, revered team is magnetic. I look forward to contributing to this company’s impressive story.”
