Synthax has announced at that it’s now distributing Appsys Pro Audio in the U.S., along with Canada and Latin America, and will be highlighting the company’s products at its booth (number 5150) at the upcoming InfoComm 2019 show in Orlando.
Designed in Switzerland and built in Germany, Appsys supplies a range of ADAT products that includes extenders, splitters and repeaters as well as digital format converters, including the Multiverter MVR-64.

The Multiverter MVR-64 digital format converter lets users interface gear to any signal source with the ability to convert between a wide selection of digital interfaces. It supports 64 channels of conversion for ADAT, MADI optical, MADI coaxial, MADI-TP, AES50, Audinate Dante/AES67, and is extensible to future interfaces via break-out boxes.
The MVR-64 also offers remote control over MIDI, MIDI over MADI, USB, RS485, AES50 Aux Data channel and network socket. Further, it includes 12 store and recall presets, a headphone amp that allows users to monitor any incoming signal, as well as a test tone generator that simplifies troubleshooting.
The MVR-64 comes with a triple-redundant power supply and can be powered with industry-standard 4-pin XLR plug battery packs. It’s available now at a MAP price of $2,999 MAP.
Appsys also offers a Sample Rate Converter Hardware Module to accompany the MVR-64, providing 64 x 64 channel asynchronous, bi-directional conversion between two arbitrary sample rates and interfaces.
Synthax will also be featuring other products it distributes in the U.S. at InfoComm, including RME digital audio solutions, Ferrofish audio applications, myMix personal monitor mixers.
