Synchro Arts Limited has announced the immediate availability of VocALign Project AU, a completely new version that integrates with Apple’s Logic 8 music production system by using the Audio Unit (AU) protocol.
VocALign is the only software tool that automatically edits one audio signal to match the timing patterns of another audio signal.
John Ellwood, the company’s Technical Director, commented, “We designed a brand new approach that fits in with the AU protocol for efficiently handling the audio in Logic. What’s been particularly rewarding is the fantastic response from hundreds of Beta users who told us how pleased they are to at last have access to the editing tool they’ve been waiting years for.”
For cost-conscious studio owners, VocALign Project V3 licenses are now mutli-platform licenses delivered on iLok.
So by purchasing one multi-platform license, the user can run VocALign Project V3 as an AU version with Logic, as an Audio Suite version with Pro Tools, and shortly as a stand-alone version with other DAEs.
This allows the user to switch between popular audio editing systems and still access a version of VocALign Project V3.
The new VocALign AU plug-in can be initially purchased as a download with an electronic license from the web store on www.synchroarts.com and Synchro Arts dealers or as an upgrade.
The recommended retail prices for a download with an electronic license are US$325 for North America, €239 (ex VAT) for Europe, £199 (ex VAT) for UK and the rest of the world.
Upgrades are being offered at a discount price for a limited time period at RRPs of US$99 for North America, €84 (ex VAT) for Europe, £70 (ex VAT) for UK and the rest of the world.
A 14-day demonstration of VocALign Project 3 AU, and Audio Suite, manuals and tutorial media can be downloaded from http://www.synchroarts.com/downloads.
