SynAudCon Presenting Sound Reinforcement For Technicians At InfoComm 2015 In Orlando

Multimedia seminar covers theory behind how systems work, demonstrates system troubleshooting, and presents system tuning

Registration is open for the upcoming SynAudCon three-day Sound Reinforcement for Technicians (SRT) seminar to be held June 13-15 in conjunction with the InfoComm 2015 show in Orlando this coming June.

SRT instructor Pat Brown provides a multimedia presentation, covering the theory behind how systems work, and he also demonstrates how to use instrumentation to look “under the hood” to troubleshoot systems. On day three, system tuning is presented in a technical yet practical way.

In addition, the seminar will answer these key questions—Is the gain structure right? Are the amplifiers sized correctly? Is the system equalization optimal?—and more.

Hands-on exercises are also included, with attendees using an iPod Touch controlling an audio instrumentation interface to make basic system measurements.

“The hands-on training kits allow attendees to leave with a better working knowledge of how to optimize a system,” explains Brown. “Providing the theory and practice has proven to be a very effective way for students to learn.”

Note that the seminar is approved for 24 InfoComm RUs and 21 BICSI CECs.
