SynAudCon is presenting a Live Sound Design, Optimization & Tuning seminar at the upcoming InfoComm 2020 show on June 13-15 at the Westgate Hilton, adjacent to the Las Vegas Convention Center.
Led by instructor Pat Brown, the course will address the specialized set of performance and deployment criteria for portable live sound systems. Topics include point source and line array deployment, amplifier selection based on power ratings, alignment issues of mains and subwoofers, and analog and digital system gain structure. Another major focus will be how to address loudspeaker tuning and room resonance issues using FIR and IIR digital filters.
