Symetrix Announces New Networked PoE-Based WX Wall Controllers

IP- and PoE-based WX wall controllers employ user-programmable displays for labeling and feedback.
New WX Series wall controllers from Symetrix are available in three configurations.

Symetrix announces the latest addition to its new product lineup with IP- and PoE based WX wall controllers that employ user-programmable displays for labeling and feedback.

WX wall controllers increase the number of control devices that can be added to a Symetrix-based system. With an OLED display and dedicated knobs and buttons, the new controllers provide standard IP communication over Ethernet to create a single standardized infrastructure.

Available in three configurations, the controls of the WX series may be used for source selection, volume, mute, and preset recalls for any Composer-based Symetrix DSP. The W1 offers a push button encoder and display panel while the W2 controller hass four momentary buttons along with its display. The W3 combines the hardware features of the W1 and W2 into a single panel.

Applications for the WX Series include houses of worship, hospitality, education, performance/live sound, and conferencing spaces. They’re available for both standard U.S. and EU electrical boxes, utilizing Decora-style wall plates in the U.S. They will begin shipping in quarter 2 of 2020.
