Live event company Sweet Tree Productions recently provided staging and sound reinforcement for the Kruzn For A Kure’s Night of Legends fundraiser at James F. Moore Stadium at Muscle Shoals (Alabama) High School, deploying a system utilizing RCF line arrays and subwoofers.
The event, which raised funds to spread awareness about Schimke Immuno Osseous Dysplasia, immunodeficiency, and kidney disease, featured an appearance by Nick Saban, head coach of the University of Alabama Crimson Tide football team that won the national championship in January, as well as a performance by Moon Tree, a popular Muscle Shoals-based band.
In addition to sound reinforcement, Sweet Tree Productions, also headquartered in Muscle Shoals, supplied its Megastage 24×20 stage, generator power, and video walls with cameras trained on an interview featuring ESPN’s Rece Davis talking with Saban so the people in the stands at the stadium could view it clearly.
The crowd throughout the expansive listening area could also hear the interview with clarity and intelligibility via the main system that incorporated flown arrays of RCF HDL26-A active line arrays (12 modules per side) joined by a quad block of SUB-9006AS active subwoofers on the ground in front of the stage. The system was optimized with assistance from the RCF RDNet protocol.
