SurgeX Presenting Educational Sessions At InfoComm 2012

SurgeX is presenting multiple training sessions at InfoComm 2012.

On June 15, from 8 am to noon at demo room N260, a session entitled “AC Power, Grounding, and Power Conditioning for Audio and Video Systems” will provide practical knowledge such as how to determine when an isolated ground install is required for AV systems and how to handle and prevent pestering ground loops.

There will also be an overview of Advanced Series Mode technology, a patented surge suppression solution that doesn’t use sacrificial metal oxide varistors (MOVs) as do most surge protection devices

In addition, SurgeX will host hourly training sessions at booth C9536 focused on the company’s new IP-addressable products.

“InfoComm is our most important event of the year and 2012 will represent a new era of smart power management,” says Shannon Townley, vice president of sales and marketing for SurgeX. “Our training and educational sessions will help commercial integrators realize the potential of IP-addressable power products both to their operational efficiency and the bottom line.”
