Steve Cormier Joins OSA As Vice President, Broadcast Services

Industry professional for more than 35 years previously earned Platinum and Gold records in addition to holding key roles with several leading production companies.

OSA, with offices in Las Vegas, Chicago and Nashville, has announced Steve Cormier, an entertainment industry professional for more than 35 years, as its new vice president, broadcast services.

Cormier began his career as a recording engineer working with artists such as Bruce Hornsby and Keith Urban while earning both Platinum and Gold records. Moving to a local integrator and sound reinforcement company, Cormier played a pivotal role in the growth for RF audio products in the television market, and then transitioned to Bexel/Audio Specialties where he focused on audio and communications for the broadcast market.

Cormier next joined VER, where he served as director of broadcast audio and communications, and upon the acquisition of VER by the Production Resource Group (PRG), he was promoted to vice president, Systems Engineering and Operations in the television and film vertical, overseeing video systems as well as audio and communications and bringing in over $100 million in annual revenue. In addition, Cormier is a member of AES, SMPTE and the Sports Video Group.
