Spain-based Vieta Pro Seeking North & South America Distribution; Attending 2010 InfoComm

Vieta, the Spanish manufacturer of a broad range of sound reinforcement products and innovations for the AV industry, will make its InfoComm debut at the upcoming show in Las Vegas, and is now seeking distribution in North America and Latin America nations.

Vieta Pro will be exhibiting at the 2010 InfoComm show at booth 7691 (in the Central Hall).

Although Vieta has been active in the professional audio sector for five years, the company was founded in 1954 and has become a household name in high-end consumer audio in Spain.

The company’s L’Adagio loudspeaker cabinet has been exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, New York, cited as one of the finest examples of industrial design.

The Vieta Pro brand launched in 2004, offering a full range of loudspeakers for the contractor, rental and high-end home markets in Europe and Asia.

This was followed by two unique products: the Ti Line – a modular, low-voltage, DIN rail audio system for prestige commercial and high-end home use – and the patented So Line wireless loudspeaker system, applicable for heritage buildings and corporate AV and SR applications.

Sales and Marketing Director Mick Brophy is optimistic that the InfoComm show will provide a good introduction to potential distribution partners.

“Vieta has played the long game, choosing not to cross the Atlantic until we had proved our technological and aesthetic offering in Europe,” Brophy states. “However, as exchange rates become more favorable, I believe the US market will find the breadth and depth of our product portfolio to be very competitive, and, notably with the Ti Line and So Line, quite differentiated from anything else in its class.”

Brophy can be contacted via e-mail by accessing the Vieta Pro website.
