Sound Devices has named Kishore Patel, CEng FIET, as its new vice president of sales. He has more than 30 years of experience in production sound and wireless technologies, and previously served as managing director of UK wireless microphone manufacturer Audio Ltd.
“We’re very impressed with Kish’s extensive knowledge of production sound, pro audio, and RF. His engineering and product development background provides value for our distributors and customers alike,” says Sound Devices CEO Matt Anderson. “We’re excited to welcome Kishore into this new role.”
Patel, currently a fellow of the Institute of Engineering and Technology, began working at Audio Ltd. after graduating from University College, Cardiff. He was appointed managing director in 2001 and head of R&D in 2003, and then joined Sound Devices as a sales manager in 2017 when the company acquired Audio Ltd.
“Working in the production audio industry is a great joy. I truly love the people in this industry,” Patel says. “I believe strongly in the products that Sound Devices offers and look forward to serving our network of distributors, resellers, and customers.”
Sound Devices is headquartered in Reedsburg, WI with offices in Madison, WI and Berlin, Germany.
