Slate Digital and multi-plantinum and Grammy-nominated composer, keyboardist and producer Scott Storch have announced the launch of Storch Filter, a new music production plugin providing essential effects, an onboard autofilter, and professional presets curated by Storch.
Slate Digital approached Storch to collaborate on an FX plugin, resulting in the Storch Filter. The plugin is included in the Slate Digital All Access Pass.

Storch Filter’s FX rack lets users apply reverb, chorus, saturation, a stereo spreader, and a phaser to the affected signal. These five effect modules are tied to the plugin’s cutoff and resonance knobs, so the more the signal is adjusted, the more pronounced the selected effect(s). There’s also an FX Boost slider that can be used to enhance the effect of the selected modules on the signal. Users can manipulate it all with a single automation lane streamlining their production and sessions.
The plugin’s onboard autofilter can be used to add some movement to sound. There are six different LFO shapes to choose from, and the Rate, Depth and Phase controls offer more precise control over the presence and intensity of the engaged effect.
Storch Filter is available now for All Access Pass subscribers.
