Dani Munoz, founder of Phantom Center and a concert and recording mix engineer, joins the show in Episode 84 to talk about how he got his start in Columbia, mixing on the Waves eMotion LV1 platform, and more. He also discusses understanding the “vibe” when mixing, especially when working with music styles such as Island, Reggae, and Latin, as well as his work with Kali Uchis, Lykke Li and MAGIC!
During the pandemic, Munoz created GTone studio monitors as an effort to continue to be able to provide for his family while also giving back to the community that supported him and a lot of other folks who found themselves in dire straits. He donates part of the proceeds of every sale to the MusiCares Coronavirus Relief Fund.
