Signal To Noise, Episode 44: Should You Go To School For Audio?

Signal To Noise Podcast

Should you go to school for audio? There are many factors that play into this conversation, and it can also be a difficult topic because weighing out the pros and cons can be different for each person and school. In Episode 44, the hosts have a healthy discussion on this topic with Eric Ferguson and Hannah Goodine.

Eric is an assistant professor of Live Sound Production at the New England School of Communications at Husson University in Maine, and he also has extensive experience in the studio and with sound reinforcement, including world touring with artists such as Lee Ritenour and James Ingram. And, he’s also a ProSoundWeb contributor. Meanwhile, Hannah is a student at Husson University and is co-host Michael Lawrence’s apprentice.
