Theatrical sound designer Kyle Jensen returns to the show in Episode 207, joined by Jess Buttery, production manager for the theater department at Hamilton College in Clinton, NY, to talk with Michael about their work co-designing a recent production of the musical RENT at the college. They discuss the sound system design philosophy and implementation used for the production, some of the challenges of the show, and how Kyle and Michael worked collaboratively throughout the process.
