Veteran live and studio mix engineer — and founder/instructor at Master Mix Live — Rick Camp joins the show in Episode 144 and discusses the trend toward immersive audio in both the studio and live realms. He also shares his journey into professional audio after being a musician who went to Berklee College of Music in addition to detailing the Master Mix Live program, which is designed to offer students a unique semi-private audio engineering education to develop skillful use of equipment plus hands-on console confidence to qualify as an A1, A2 and proficient live engineer in a relatively short amount of time.
