Signal To Noise, Episode 136: Systems Engineer/Crew Chief Krysten Dean

Talks about her untraditional path of getting into the audio industry, mentoring, giving back and changing the narrative, as well as a recent show she worked with one of the co-hosts.

Krysten Dean (a.k.a. “KD”), a touring systems engineer and crew chief who works with Eighth Day Sound, joins the show in Episode 136 and talks about her untraditional path of jumping into the audio industry at the age of 30 after she graduated from Full Sail University. She’s focused on mentoring and giving back to the audio community. KD is also passionate about changing the narrative for females and people of color within the industry. In addition, co-host Michael Lawrence recently worked a show with KD and they discuss how two systems engineers come together on one show. This episode is sponsored by Audix and Allen & Heath.
